Doll Play

Engaging and baby doll/toy play provides an opportunity for children to make sense of the world around them. Here, boys and girls can practice taking on the role of Mum, Dad or caregiver and looking after their baby, performing tasks they see happening and repeating scenarios or conversations they have witnessed at home.

Doll play offers opportunities for strong social connections to take place, vocabulary and language to be shared and boost independence, empathy and emotional regularltion and understandings.
