Wild Measure Spoon

Wild Measure is our double ended spoon, crafted with a teaspoon on one end and a quarter teaspoon on the other, inviting balance and intention into play and the kitchen alike. The duo functionality of this spoon makes it perfect for little hands. A dash or a splash is an important measure to know when you're deep in the enchanted garden.

The Wild Measure Spoon is crafted on our signature branch handle that has been part of the Wild Mountain Child story since 2018. The branch handle was created to feel as though it had been gathered from the garden itself. Textured, tactile and familiar, it has become a recognisable part of our nature play tools.

Designed in Australia. Ethically and lovingly hand-carved, hand-sanded & hand-polished by Vietnamese artisans in a traditional craft village preserving ancient skills and providing income. 

Made from Doussie, a Vietnamese plantation timber. Finished with food-grade oil. 

NOTE

Due to the natural nature of this product. No two are the same, there are variations in the wood grains and craftmanship giving each item its own personality. 

CARE

To keep your wood looking its best:

• Do not leave submerged in water for a really long time ( like a week)  - play is ok and hang it up to dry after. 
• Dry with a tea towel after getting wet
• Then keep it beautiful with a rub of bee's wax or vegetable oil into the wood to avoid the fibres lifting.
• Only use mild dishwashing detergent if needed
• Never put wood in the dishwasher
